We have a brand new opportunity for a Fabric Technician, where you will be required to cover various commercial buildings including retail stores, commercial offices and smaller outer buildings based around Newcastle working along site 8 other multiskilled engineers on the contract. You will be responsible for all building maintenance works across the site including planned/reactive maintenance, including water temperature checks, tap flushing, minor plumbing dealing with leaks and blockages, joinery fixing door handles and locks and any general building services. The basic salary of this role is up to GBP32,000 however, the successful candidate will also have plenty of overtime opportunities which can really stack on top of your basic. The working hours are 8am till 5pm with 1 hour lunch, any additional hours including Saturday are paid at x1.5 or x2 on Sunday. With an on call infrequent and being 1 in 8 with GBP130 standby.
