Engineering manager

Job Title: Engineering Manager Location: Manchester Salary: GBP55,000 per annum We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a commercial building in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the building #39;s engineering infrastructure, managing a team of engineers and technicians, The Company prides itself on providing quality service from the best team of qualified engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity. * Work closely with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained to the highest standards. * Manage all aspects of the engineering budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within agreed limits. * Ensure the smooth running of the building #39;s engineering infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs and requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner. * Ensure that all engineering works are carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Key Requirements: * Strong technical knowledge across a range of engineering disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems. * Demonstrable experience in a similar Engineering Manager role, ideally within a commercial building environment. * Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders. * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively. * Adhere to companies high performance culture and promote this within the working environment If you are interested in applying for this opportunity and would like to hear more information or to talk about a current application, or if you know any other suitable personnel, please feel free to Contact Davon @ Invictus on (phone number removed)
