Group credit control manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the credit process for a group of companies with a combined turnover of approximately GBP350m. The principal responsibilities will be bull; Managing the credit management function and overseeing the credit control function. bull; Leading and motivating the credit control team. bull; Overseeing the effective collection of both invoices and applications for payment. bull; Liaising with surveyors and commercial managers to ensure all outstanding debts are recovered. bull; Preparation of weekly/monthly and annual cash flow forecasts bull; Maintaining credit insurance policies and procedures. bull; Set and monitor credit limits. bull; Where required initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory conclusion. bull; Keep the company up to date with new credit management procedures and techniques. bull; Deal with internal queries about payments. bull; Prepare monthly reports for jobs and sales invoice debtors. bull; Report to Finance Director on a weekly/monthly basis on outstanding accounts and cashflow. Ideally the successful candidate will have the qualifications and experience as outlined below: bull; Confident experienced Credit Control Manager with a minimum of 3 years management experience bull; Computer literate, knowledge of Coins would be advantageous. bull; Possesses a good understanding of and ability for Microsoft Excel bull; Excellent communication skills bull; Good numeracy skills bull; Ability to manage projects to agreed timescales and produce written reports. bull; Ability to plan and organize workloads to meet deadlines bull; Commercial awareness in regards to contractual arrangements and the interpretation of contract documents.
