CNC Turner * Varied CNC Turner position that will see you work on a range of batch projects. * Days based opportunity with scope for further overtime at x1.5 rate. High earning potential * Small team that are experiencing strong growth. Potential to progress in the future. * Two CNC Turner positions are available. One using Fanuc (editing skills needed), and the other using ProtoTRAK (programming skills needed) We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner from a precision machining background. We are working with a leading company involved in the development and manufacture of precision machining, high technology, engineering components that supply into various industries. As a CNC Turner you will be setting and operating a XYZ lathe on the dayshift. Salary Hours: cGBP15 to GBP18 per annum depending on experience. The lower end would be for more of a junior option. Overtime paid at x1.5 hourly rate and readily available. 39 hour week Monday to Thursday 8am ndash; 5pm, Friday 8am ndash; 1 pm. The CNC Turner job will involve: * Setting and operation of Puma (Fanuc) or XYZ (ProtoTRAK) CNC turning machine / lathe. Online programming experience would be an advantage. * Operating 3 axis lathes. Part programming / editing if you are to use the Fanuc lathe, full online programming for ProtoTRAK. * Working with mild steel, stainless steel. * Performing quality checks on machined components. * Other associated machine shop duties, such as inspection. This CNC Turner job will suit: * Demonstrable experience of setting/operating CNC turning machines * 3 axis CNC experience. * Some knowledge of programming desirable. * Apprentice trained or hold a formal engineering qualification.
