SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B21 | GBP90 - GBP105 per day | September 2024 | 8:30am - 3:30pm We #39;re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school located in the Handsworth area. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full time basis from September, working the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position. Responsibilities: Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment Collaborate with other professionals to work towards the best outcomes for students Encourage active participation and engagement with learning Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and developmentThe ideal candidate will: Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potentialIf you are looking for a rewarding role and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, please submit your CV and Sam will be in touch to discuss the next steps
