Electrical engineer

Role: Electrical Engineer ndash; Testing Inspecting Location: Salford - Within 30 mins of home address, any travel beyond that will be paid. Our client are recruiting for a skilled Electrical Test Inspection Engineer to support significant growth to their operations. Successful candidates will be capable of conducting electrical testing, inspections, and repairs across housing association and local authority properties. Job Responsibilities: middot; Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations in the workplace, promptly reporting near misses, incidents, and accidents. middot; Conduct fixed wire installation tests (EICR) at clients #39; premises. middot; Identify and rectify faults detected during fixed wire installation tests (EICR). middot; Accurately submit all relevant certification via tablet, using specialized software. middot; Maintain a minimum 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday (between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm), with flexibility for evening and weekend work. middot; Represent the company professionally in all interactions. Candidates will have: middot; City Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) middot; NVQ Level 3 or City Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 2 qualification middot; City and Guilds level 2 3 Electrical Installations middot; City Guilds 2391 or equivalent (preferable, training may be provided for the right candidate) middot; Previous electrical experience required in domestic environment. middot; An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace middot; A full UK driving licence middot; A good level of IT literacy
