Hseq officer

Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a HSEQ officer for their client in the Widnes area, an integral role within a manufacturing business operating across a range of industrial sectors. As a HSEQ officer you will: - * Support the directors in maintaining and improving HSEQ systems. * Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards. * Provide HSEQ guidance and support to the operational teams promoting best practices and risk management. * Monitor and deliver HSEQ training programs for all staff and conduct inductions/ issue and record PPE etc. * Assist with incident investigations, identify root causes and corrective actions. * Prepare HSEQ reports for directors. * Maintain company systems and procedures with all new legislation/ developments in health, safety, environmental and quality standards. We are looking for a HSEQ office with the following: - * IOSH or NEBOSH (or working towards NEBOSH). * An understanding of HSEQ legislation. * Experience within a manufacturing environment ndash; steel fabrication or sheet metal and advantage. * Familiarisation with ISO auditing. A permanent position that could suit a HSEQ graduate with some relevant experience and looking to further develop their career within manufacturing. Salary up to GBP30,000. 25 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays. Day shift Monday to Friday (38.5 hours)
