WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR Basic Salary: GBP44,490pa Workshop Supervisor Job Details Working Hours: Monday-Friday Days - No Weekends Location: Stoke For the Supervisor role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment. Prior commercial supervisor experience is preferred but a strong technical background would be considered. Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor middot;Receive handover from dayshift to understand workload requirements middot;To plan, allocate and prioritise work to technicians middot;Monitor work progression during shift middot;To ensure all policy and procedures are followed middot;Make decisions for vehicle availability middot;To ensure all staff have completed paperwork/time sheets at the end of shift Skills and Qualifications of a Workshop Supervisor middot;Level 3 / City Guilds or NVQ qualified technician middot;HGV licence is an advantage middot;Proven experience as a technician or mechanic, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures middot;Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred middot;Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental guidelines middot;Strong knowledge of shop equipment and tools, including diagnostic equipment and hand tools middot;Able to think outside the box and work as part of a team Please contact George Elliott @ Auto Skills Please reference job number: 47578 We are also looking for candidates with the following skill sets: HGV Technicians, LCV Technicians, MOT Testers, Service Advisers, Parts Advisers, Sales Executives and more.
