Sales engineer

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading supplier of bearings and MRO products in the Midlands. The successful Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely covering the West Midlands, responsible for key account management and new business development of bearings and MRO products via distribution channels and OEM customers. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, or managing accounts within MRO, bearings, power transmission, belts, chains, gears, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, hoses, valves, pumps, seals, gaskets or similar MRO / power transmission products/services. Package GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 Bonus Company car Company pension 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Phone, laptop plus additional benefits Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role Cover the West Midlands, responsible for key account management and new business development of bearings and MRO products via distribution channels and OEM customers. Identify and target new clients that can benefit from the bearing / MRO product range on offer. Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling bearings and associated products/equipment. Maintaining new bearings / MRO sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets. Liaise with various engineering departments. Home-based, willing to travel across the West Midlands. Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar. A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience within MRO / bearings / power transmission industry. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering supplier. A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous. Experience selling mechanical engineering equipment ndash; MRO, bearings, power transmission, belts, chains, gears, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, hoses, valves, pumps, seals, gaskets or similar MRO / power transmission products/services. Full clean driving license
