Seeking a Science Teacher for a September Start! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a Secondary School in the Thurrock area for the new acadmeic year. The school would be offering a September start but open to starting sooner for the right person. This is a full-time position that will be offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate our students in the wonders of science. Role Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, covering a range of scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Utilise innovative teaching methods, hands-on experiments, and technology to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among students. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts, and collaborate with their peers. Assess student understanding and progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum, integrating real-world applications and interdisciplinary connections. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, adhering to school policies and procedures. Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians through effective communication and involvement in school activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor #39;s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master #39;s degree preferred). Previous experience teaching science or related subjects, preferably at the secondary level. Passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring curiosity and lifelong learning in students. Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
