The role encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities including: - Spearheading problem resolution through advanced techniques such as 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa, ensuring the implementation of robust Permanent Corrective Actions. - Supporting Supplier Quality initiatives within the supply chain through Supplier Assessments, Process Audits, Surveillance Visits, and leading Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as needed. - Enhancing the supplier performance monitoring system, driving continuous improvement and effectively communicating supplier quality issues and statuses. - Conducting quality performance reviews and fostering a culture of learning from past experiences. - Serving as the primary contact for Supplier Quality concerns, liaising with plant, programme, and commodity teams. The ideal candidate will possess: - A fervent drive for thriving in fast-paced, success-oriented environments. - A track record of excellence in Problem Solving, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Concessions, and Supplier Audits. - Extensive experience in a series production manufacturing setting, with a preference for backgrounds in the automotive sector. - A history of New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and the implementation of new business processes. - The willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally as needed. - A formal engineering qualification complemented by substantial experience in a Supplier Quality role. - Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a proficiency in quality systems and tools such as ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA, or equivalent.
