Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Central London Contract Type: Permanent About Us: My client are a leading Tier 2 contractor committed to delivering excellence in every project. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of their projects they work closely in the water, transport, and energy sectors. The Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide crucial commercial support to the project team, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and contributing to the overall success of their projects. You will actively engage with customer representatives and third parties, focusing on commercial issues, including variations, claims, and additional payments. Key Responsibilities: Reporting: Ensure robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels. Maintain accurate cash flow reporting. Conduct cost management and forecasting. Update monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR), cost, and commercial plans, taking accountability for commercial performance and strategy. Processes: Ensure adherence to commercial processes across the business unit. Actively seek improvements in processes and procedures. Understand and contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures within joint ventures/alliances.Key Measures Targets: Accurate monthly forecasting. Ability to challenge resources and costs.
