Senior mechanical engineer

Principal Mechanical Engineer needed in Liverpool Join our client, a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering practice based in Liverpool. They are renowned for their innovative designs across a diverse range of projects, spanning healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. About the Role: As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you #39;ll lead projects from conception to completion, generating proposal and tender documents. You #39;ll manage technical and construction aspects of mechanical installations, attend design meetings, and mentor junior staff. Requirements: * 5-10 years of experience in M E consulting. * HNC or degree qualified, preferably chartered or working towards chartership. * Proficiency in Autocad/Revit and IES. * Demonstrated ability to lead projects and produce high-quality designs. * Strong team player with mentoring skills. * Competent in designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and water systems. Responsibilities Include: * Identifying training needs and managing staff. * Assigning projects and ensuring CPD compliance. * Liaising with clients and presenting at tender interviews. * Identifying opportunities, preparing fee quotes, and case studies. * Maintaining core values of dependability, integrity, competence, tenacity, and amiability.
