Starting Date: NEW ACADEMIC YEAR MPS - UNQUALIFIED PAYSCALE Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join one of our partner Colleges located in Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to inspire students in the subjects of History as well as teaching some RS Geography. This will be an immediate start for the remainder of the academic year. Curriculum Planning:- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the History curriculum. - Integrate innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding. Assessment and Feedback:- Assess student progress through various methods. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to support academic growth. Classroom Management:- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment. - Implement effective behaviour management strategies. Parental Communication:- Communicate with parents regarding students #39; academic progress and well-being. - Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication channels. Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). UQT #39;s will also be considered. - Relevant academic qualifications in History and/or Politics. - Proven experience teaching History and/or Politics. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
