Artworker

This long established company is growing rapidly and looking for someone to join their Artwork team. If you are looking for an opportunity in a design or artwork based role, this could be just what you want. There is a starting salary of GBP24,000 (rising to GBP25,000 after successful 6 month probation) and benefits including free parking, annual bonus, pension scheme, childcare vouchers and holidays that increase to 24 days plus bank holidays over time (including your birthday as an extra day off!). What will you be doing as an Artworker? Working as part of a small team you will be dealing with a mixture of lapsed and existing customers. Duties will include: * Receiving artwork from customers to create templates * Working with templates to manipulate customer designs and create visuals * Amending visuals/artwork to meet customer specification * Emailing changes and amendments to other members of the team as required * Creating mock visuals and 3D visuals for customers * Creating and amending templates * Updating customers regarding any changes of delivery date * Liaising with internal and external printers * Printing of visuals and films used to create the visual * General administration We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: * Comfortable working with Illustrator * Ideally either experienced in a similar artwork-based role or have an artwork or design qualification although this is not essential * It may suit someone studying a design based qualification who is looking to build some initial work experience * Experience using Photoshop would be beneficial * Team player with good sense of humour * Quick learner * An excellent eye for detail is essential * Happy working in what is a non-creative artwork role, using existing templates to create images What will you get in return for your work as an Artworker? * A starting salary of GBP24,000, rising to GBP25,000 after successful 6 month probation * 21 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday day off, rising to 24 days + bank holidays (including birthday) * Annual bonus based on company performance * Free parking * Pension scheme * Regular staff rewards and social events * Staff discount * Support for your charity work * Staff referral bonus * Great career prospects * Fabulous working environment with a real family feel where everyone works well together To apply If this sounds like an Artwork or Design role you would love, please email your CV to today!
