Title: Manufacturing Business Development Manager Location: Manchester Days: Mon - Fri Salary: GBP45k + Bonus Benefits: Pension Death in Service Free Parking Uncapped Commission Ongoing Training and support Laptop, Phone Responsibilities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services. Develop existing clients and explore new opportunities to maximise revenue potential. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, focusing on increasing the value of current customers and attracting new ones. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability and opportunities. Manage the sales order process and generate new business quotes. Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs. Forecast, track, and report on key account metrics for sales meetings. Research organisations and individuals to find new opportunities and create account plans/reviews. Conduct project reviews with key stakeholders to understand best practices and areas for improvement. Assist with challenging client requests and escalate issues as needed. Requirements: Proven ability to negotiate effectively. Good understanding of the point-of-sale (POS) Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across different levels. Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail. Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a results-driven environment. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time and project management skills. Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
