About the Role Our client is seeking a Estimator with experience in a similar role to join their growing team in Henley-On-Thames. You rsquo;ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for design and build projects. This includes collaborating with the design team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and realistic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with experience in the design and build sector. The key roles and responsibilities include but aren rsquo;t limited to: * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for design and build projects * Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents * Collaborate with the design team to ensure that estimates align with project scope and requirements * Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for estimating purposes * Identify and evaluate potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities * Obtain and analyse quotes from subcontractors and suppliers * Maintain a database of cost information, including materials, labor, and equipment rates * Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters * Update estimates as project scope or requirements change * Assist with the preparation of bid packages and proposals * Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure alignment with estimates The Offer In return for your expertise, our client offers a competitive salary of up to/circa GBP80k per annum.
