Master Technician Location: Chipping Warden Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week Salary: GBP44,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate) Employment Type: Temp to Perm, Permanent for the right candidate Igloo is looking for Master Technicians to join our client rsquo;s team in Chipping Warden! This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join one of the UK #39;s leading automotive companies, which has operations across the country. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in resolving technical issues and monitor workflow. * Ensure completion of workshop documentation and compliance with procedures. * Conduct vehicle inspections for defects. * Maintain flexibility to cover shifts during holidays. * Manage housekeeping and paperwork in the work area. * Interpret technical service information from manuals and computer files. * Keep company equipment clean and report shortages or damage. * Support colleagues to meet daily targets. * Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain workshop cleanliness. * Fulfil any other required duties. What kind of person are we looking for? * City Guilds 1, 2, 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies or Higher BTEC or equivalent ndash; essential * Manufacturer rsquo;s training, including EV and Hybrid vehicles ndash; desirable * At least 3 years of relevant experience in a workshop environment ndash; essential * Good level of industry knowledge/awareness ndash; desirable * Strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and standards ndash; essential * Willingness to complete manufacturer #39;s training courses ndash; desirable * Ability to work with others and be a team player ndash; essential * Highly self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve high standards ndash; desirable Apply today and join our client rsquo;s team
