Learning Support Assistant Manager required for an excellent Sixth Form College in Havering. We require a motivational and knowledgeable Learning Support Manager to supervise, lead and line manage a small team of Learning Support Assistants to ensure learners social and physical needs are met, enabling them to safely engage in learning. middot; Learning Support Assistant Manager middot; Contract role that can lead to Permanent opportunity from September 2024. middot; To start ASAP ndash; 12th July 2024 middot; GBP20 to 25 per hour middot; Redbridge location. This role would be suitable for a person that has experience working within the education setting as an LSA, HLTA or within Special Education. The duties of this role Learning Support Assistant Manager include: middot; To lead and support practice development within the team and will provide coaching and mentoring to their small team of Learning Support Assistants. middot; To take a lead role in the support for learners with special educational needs and access, health, personal care and mobility needs. middot; To be responsible for preparing and maintaining up to date support plans and co-ordinating the provision of high quality, individualised support by the support staff. middot; To demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging promotional and relationship building role with the Local Authorities, social services, parents/carers and other professional agencies.
