Health safety and environmental lead

Health, Safety and Environmental Lead GBP55k, Knaresborough, pension, life cover, flexible working, We seek a dynamic Health Safety Environmental professional to work within a volume manufacturing environment. The role would suit an ambitious candidate who has worked ideally within a COSHH Environment and is looking for an autonomous role. As the Health, Safety and Environmental Lead you will: #xF0B7;Work with all staff to ensure legal compliance and best practice #xF0B7;Resolve health, safety, and environmental issues in line with HSE policies procedures #xF0B7;Develop safety strategies for the prevention of workplace accidents, investigate incidents and put in place prevention measure, produce risk assessments #xF0B7;Monitor and assess all departmental Health, Safety Environmental issues and implement control measures to reduce risks #xF0B7;Advise on legal compliance and lead HSE meetings with reports, information on accident statistics, and information on new legislation. #xF0B7;Develop and deliver HSE training to all staff #xF0B7;Work on health and safety projects #xF0B7;Support the management team in maintaining and continuously improving the Environmental Management System #xF0B7;Identify opportunities for continuous health, safety environmental improvement and implement programmes to deliver these. #xF0B7;Maintain the management of system ISO 14001 #xF0B7;Manage all aspects of fire safety #xF0B7;To support engineering team in the safe introduction of new machinery and equipment.
