Technical Operator ndash; FMCG ndash; Continental Shift Continental Shift Pattern 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off Salary: GBP25,800 to GBP35,000 + Pension + Bonus + Overtime Location: Leeds Reference: Jo5467/LN The Company Based within one of the UK rsquo;s leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The facility in Leeds has been there for over 15 years and is focused around high speed deliver of orders to its blue chip clients. This manufacturing site is part of a group which has numerous manufacturing plants throughout the UK and therefore is an extremely secure group. The Role You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. There will be lots of fast moving machinery such as wrappers and plastics machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems. * Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering * Experience of Injection Moulding machinery * Understanding of PPM systems You will be running and maintaining the machinery on site. It is predominantly injection moulding machinery on site so it would be highly beneficial to have experience with injection moulding machines as well as hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics. The role primarily entails both operating and setting injection moulding machinery. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.
