Maintenance engineer

Working Model / Location: On Site / Bromborough Salary + Benefits: Up to GBP48,000 - DOE Sector: Engineering Aspion Search are currently seeking an experienced, electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a growing organisation. Monday - Friday OR 4 on 4 off Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly to minimize downtime and production interruptions. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions proactively. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities efficiently, minimizing disruptions to production schedules. Participate in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery and production lines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventory. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all employees. About You: Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred not essential) Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of blow molding machinery and associated equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Familiarity with PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
