The Finance Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of social media marketing, requiring a strong grasp of accounting principles and a keen interest in finance. With a workforce of around 70 employees, they are known for their cutting-edge solutions and commitment to innovation. Description Process accounts payable Employee expense processing Reconcile company bank accounts, investigating any outstanding items and differences. Investigate and respond to queries raised via the shared team in-boxes and via slack channels Ensure that weekly and monthly processing deadlines are met as required. Help to formulate and monitor policies and procedures relating to the purchase ledger and expenses. Assist with projects to improve and automate finance functions. Assist other members of the Finance team with tasks as required. Complete ad hoc tasks as required.Profile A collaborative self-starter with 12-18 months experience in a Finance team, including the accounts payable function Strong knowledge of VAT regulation and will be comfortable working to tight deadlines Curious and constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve processes.
