Lead Unreal Developer Newcastle - Hybrid Salary GBP80,000 - GBP100,000 dep on experience The Role I rsquo;m looking for an experienced and team oriented Lead Unreal Developer or Senior Unreal Developer who rsquo;s looking for their next challenge, to join an outstanding team. Your Responsibilities: * Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the integration process, understanding their IT architecture and requirements. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and successful customer outcomes. * Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful integration outcomes. * Design and develop APIs to facilitate seamless communication between HEAT and customers rsquo; simulator products. * Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration processes, including API specifications, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures. * Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on integration-related topics. * Proactively identify opportunities for product process improvement. * Track progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. * Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with the Customer prior to go-live. * Oversee technical support to customers following go-live. Qualifications: * Bachelor/Master rsquo;s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience in technical integration projects, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment. * Strong customer-facing experience in similar integration project delivery * Proficiency in some of the related technologies such as REACT, C++, and Azure cloud services. * Experience with game or simulation engines such as Unreal, Unity, VBS etc. * Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful architecture. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience in the defence, simulation or gaming industry is a bonus. * Project management certification, particularly in agile / scrum is also a bonus.
