Position: SEN Class Teacher Location: Tadworth, Surrey Salary: #x1F4B0; Paid to scale Contract Type: #x1F4C5; Long Term Start Date: #x23F3; Immediate Duration: #x1F4C6; Monday - Friday (Full-Time) The Successful Candidate Will Have: #x1F9E9; Experience working with students with Autism and associated needs. #x1F393; Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Education, particularly Autism with high support needs and lower academic levels. #x1F6E0; #xFE0F; Ability to effectively manage pupil behaviour during lessons. #x1F4AC; Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, and students. #x1F393; QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. #x1F512; An enhanced Child or Child Adult barred list DBS certificate. Role Overview: #x1F393; Teaching to a class of varying needs including varied types of communication (non-verbal Physical). #x1F4DA; Implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students, with a focus on Core Subjects. #x1F465; Working closely with students, their parents/carers, and other members of staff to ensure students #39; happiness and well-being. #x1F4DD; Adapting the syllabus according to the individual students #39; EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan). #x1F4CA; Making appropriate use of a range of monitoring and assessment strategies to evaluate pupils #39; progress. #x1F4AC;We specialize in providing top-notch education to children with Autism and associated needs, spanning from ages 5 to 19 years old.
