Assistant accountant

Assistant Accountant Milton Keynes Salary up to GBP30,000 + Hybrid Working Looking for a fantastic career opportunity in finance? We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for an excellent business based in Bedford. The ideal candidate should have experience working for a group of companies, or looking to make the move from practice to industry. This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days working from home. Duties Responsibilities: Processing of supplier and employee expense claims Monthly payroll procedures Accounts payable and receivable Bank statement reconciliations Month-end journal entries Intercompany journal entries and reconciliations Assist in producing periodic management reports Experience Required: Part/Qualified Accountant (AAT or equivalent) Proficient in Excel Experience with Xero Previous experience working for a group. Previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice.
