Key Responsibilities: * Identify and develop new business opportunities in the ocean freight market. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their shipping needs and requirements. * Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. * Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of services. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. * Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services. * Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management. Requirements: * Proven experience in sales or business development within the ocean freight * Strong understanding of ocean freight operations and regulations. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. * Willingness to travel as required. * At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
