Job Title: Asbestos Administrator Location: Bishop #39;s Stortford, Essex. Salary / Benefits GBP25K - GBP28K + Training + Benefits We are recruiting for an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy who are now looking to take on an Asbestos Analyst to join their friendly team. This role would suit someone who holds experience carrying out quality checking of technical reports and is looking to join a continuously growing company, with a longstanding and dedicated team of employees and clients. Our client can offer the opportunity to gain knowledge and train into other environmental sectors. This role would suit someone who is hard working, and has excellent observation skills, able to communicate with other employees, and clients efficiently. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Harlow, Ware, Great Dunmow, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Epping, Cheshunt, Stevenage. Experience Qualifications: Will have strong administrative experience, ideally working for a UKAS Accredited Asbestos company. Keen eye for detail. Holding the BOHS P402 would be beneficial to the role. Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs. Able to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients of all levels. Able to work well and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The Role: Logging all incoming jobs onto internal systems accurately, in a timely manner. Utilising BOHS P402 / QC experience, checking reports for technical accuracy. Liaising with asbestos staff to query any mistakes on reports, ensuring to rectify in a timely manner. Using internal systems to assign asbestos staff to jobs. Arranging accommodation for asbestos staff when required. Liaising with clients to confirm work to be carried out prior to assigning asbestos staff to sites. Raising purchase orders and invoiced upon completion of work. Ensuring to finalise reports, using information submitted from site. Ensuring effective control of company documents. Working in line with agreed time frames, submitting reports to clients before deadlines. Carrying out other administrative duties e.g., scanning, filing, answering / making phone calls, sending / replying to emails.
