HLTA Primary, SEN Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Salary: GBP70 - GBP100 per day About the Role: GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) with a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our vibrant educational team in Goole. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance the learning experiences of primary school students with diverse needs. Responsibilities: Work under the guidance of teaching staff to support students with SEN across various primary year groups. Implement tailored educational plans designed to meet the specific needs of SEN students. Assist in the assessment of pupil progress and contribute to the preparation of reports and parent meetings. Facilitate small group sessions and interventions for students requiring additional support. Provide cover for teachers when needed and use your initiative to adapt activities. The successful candidate will: Have proven experience as an HLTA, preferably with a focus on SEN within a primary school setting. Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications. Demonstrate a strong ability to engage and inspire young learners with various educational needs. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students. Show resilience, patience, and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
