Cover Supervisor Area: Blyth, Northumberland NE24 Start: ASAP Contract: Supply/Flexible Are you confident in managing a classroom and have previous suitable experience working within schools and with secondary students? Are you a recent College/University graduate who is looking for paid teaching experience? AK Teaching are looking for Cover Supervisors to work in a partner Secondary School in Blyth NE24 from as soon as possible! We are hoping to find 2-4 suitable candidates who can help the school during the busy end of year, with views to continue working with the school in the new academic year. We are hoping to find Cover Supervisors who can work a minimum of 3 days a week 8am -3:30pm. As these are entry level roles previous experience is not essential as training and help will be given along the way. Cover supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The cover supervisor #39;s main job is to manage the classroom, ensuring that students are safe and remain on task with the work they have been set. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS bull; Hours - 8:00am - 3:30pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS bull; Previous experience working in a UK secondary school or working with young people is beneficial but not essential bull; Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year ndash; we can help with this by placing you on our partner course!
