Day control room operator

Job Type: Day Control Room Operator Salary: GBP13.50 per hour + KPI bonus related increment Hours: 07:00-19:00 (Must be able to cover nights when required) Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off average of 48 hours per week Location: SE10 Our customer is a forward-thinking privately-owned company who are a leading provider of professional integrated bespoke security and facilities management services, giving their clients a flexible and scalable approach to addressing their security and FM requirements in their businesses across an array of sectors including educational settings / student accommodation, healthcare, charitable, corporate / estate management, warehouse / distribution, social housing, utilities, shopping centres / retail parks. Role Overview We are recruiting for experienced Control Room Operators to add to our clients existing team. Working with high-profile customers within the London area. The successful candidate will have a current SIA licence in an appropriate sector Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent customer service skills, Proficient IT skills. Be punctual and reliable, able to remain patient and calm under pressure. Previous security control room experience is desirable. As a Control Room Operator your duties and responsibilities will include: * Dealing with incoming calls from customers * Organising the mobile patrol team and assigning alarm responses * Monitor control room rosters * Monitor book Ons/book off * Monitoring systems * Working with emergency services to attend incidents if required * Ensuring all Guard Welfare Calls are complete * Ensuring all relevant paperwork including incident reports are completed to a high standard * General administration as required * Previous Security control room experience is desirable but not essential We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion
