Speech and Language Teaching Assistant Bury - ASAP start Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge within an alternative provision in Bury? Are you an experienced Support worker looking to make the switch to education with more regular and term time hours? Have you got experience supporting people with Speech and Language difficulties? This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Gradate looking to pursue a career within education! The role would include: -One to one or small group support for a child with Speech and Language difficulties. -Very challenging behaviour -The children will need to be supervised throughout the day The school is based in Manchester and has a warm and welcoming team. CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS: * Location Bury * Position - Teaching Assistant * Start date ASAP * End date - ongoing * Full time * The minimum rate of pay - GBP100 per day * Hours 8am 4pm. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS - Previous SEN experience with young people - Previous experience supporting young people who can display challenging behaviour - Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training is provided) - Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training is provided) - Up to date FGM Behaviour management training issued (essential, training is provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: - Hold Right to Work in the UK - Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - Provide a minimum of two professional references Unfortunately, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
