Finance manager management accountant

Our client is a specialist manufacturing business that is part of a global market leading group and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join the team. This is a highly varied role where you will: * Manage the Finance Team rsquo;s daily activities. * Prepare of monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet recons. * Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures and effective systems of financial control. * Maintain product costings. * Cash flow management. * Full responsibility of the AP and AR ledger, stock ledger, reconciling of supplier statements and general ledger housekeeping. * Maintenance of the company rsquo;s fixed asset register. * Approving of employee expense claims. * Daily bank reconciliation. * Payroll administration. * Submission of quarterly VAT returns. * Manage the yearly Statutory Audit and 6 monthly stock takes. * Providing general support to the other department as and when required. Job Requirements: * Strong all round accounting experience and ideally some experience using Sage * Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems. * Experience and understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals and daily reconciliation of the bank. * Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Interviews are ongoing so apply now
