Field systems engineer

Position: Field Systems Engineer Location: Midlands Rate/Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping Energy and Aerospace sectors. As a Field Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, construction, testing, and installation of water quality and flow monitoring solutions across various water monitoring projects in the midlands. Your responsibilities will encompass field installations, commissioning, measurements, and surveys, ensuring that solutions meet and exceed customer expectations Duties and responsibilities of the Field Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer. bull; Conduct field installations and commissioning activities for our expanding Environmental Solutions business. bull; Perform on-site measurements of water quality and flow parameters. bull; Execute field installations of equipment and conduct site surveys in diverse environments including rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and coastal areas. bull; Provide customer support for both new and existing solutions in the field, addressing inquiries via phone or email bull; Assist with equipment demonstration installations at client sites, ensuring seamless integration and functionality bull; Resolve customer complaints by thoroughly investigating issues, developing effective solutions, preparing comprehensive reports, and making recommendations. Qualifications and requirement for the Field Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer. bull; Qualified to HNC/HND, City Guilds, or degree level in a relevant subject. bull; Previous experience in electronic and mechanical engineering, particularly in Mechatronics bull; Proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of technical drawings and schematic diagrams. bull; Knowledge of telemetry systems, PLC, and Modbus programming is desirable. bull; Must hold a full UK drivers License and be able to travel within the Midlands This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
