Lead supportability engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading Defence company at the forefront of designing/developing thermal imaging systems, radar systems, radio communications, infrared detection, signal processing and network systems. They are currently seeking a skilled Lead Supportability Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust engineering solutions within the discipline, considering the broader project issues. As the Lead Supportability Engineer, you will be expected to plan and deliver your own work, provide technical advice to internal and external customers, and mentor and develop junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members to enhance overall capability Effectively manage a team as a team leader or line manager Present engineering solutions at design and peer reviews Undertake project tasks within cost and timescale constraints Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques Drive engineering process improvement Supervise team members and manage their workload Interact effectively with customers and suppliers Job Requirements: Significant experience in supportability engineering Strong understanding of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) processes Excellent leadership and mentoring skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Effective communication and relationship-building skillsBenefits: Flexible Working: Flexible hours with hybrid working options.
