Mechanical fit out project manager

Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Location: Central London The Role: * Responsible for all Mechanical aspects of projects. * Overseeing projects from GBP200k to GBP2.5 million. Can be running multiple smaller projects at once which generally consists of a Site Supervisor/Manager and subcontract labour. * The projects are all office and healthcare fit outs in London * Responsible for effective relationship management with clients working partners to achieve smooth operational and commercial progression of projects. * Making sure health, safety welfare is maintained and adhered to at project/site level. * Managing projects from tender to completion * Ensuring that all related design information is correctly and fully audited to secure overall compliance. * Overseeing all elements of the overall commissioning process to ensure that the installations are correctly commissioned. * Ensuring that complete and comprehensive records are collated and maintained covering all aspects of quality control, system/equipment testing, water treatment, commissioning, and equipment maintenance. * Attend on site meetings, as and when required. * Overseeing the preparation of operation maintenance manuals. * Providing technical support and expertise to the internal project team. * Responsible for handover to clients and after care. * Role based between projects and the London office. * Working hours: 8-5, Mon-Fri. The Company: * 16+ years rsquo; experience delivering MEP projects in London and surrounding areas. * Offices based in North London * This company is currently at around GBP12m turnover per annum with an aim to get to GBP16 million this year. * This hire is due to the company growth. Turnover is 40% up in the last year * Take on full MEP packages The Ideal Candidate: * Will have 5+ years rsquo; experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager within the fit-out sector. * Will have previous experience working with commercial projects up to the value of GBP2m (Mechanical). * Will hold a Black CSCS Managers Card. SSSTS/SMSTS and HND/HNC advantageous. * Will work well under pressure to meet deadlines. * Will have excellent communication skills. * Will be willing to work in London every day.
