We are working in partnership with a provider of a residential and nursing service and have a permanent opportunity for a Registered Nurse based in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex. If successful, you will be working with 60 residents providing high-quality care to our elderly service users with conditions such as Alzheimer #39;s, Dementia, Parkinson rsquo;s or other clinical diagnoses. This is a permanent, full time role. Alongside countless benefits and progression opportunities, our client is paying GBP22.60 per hour. Essential Criteria: * NMC registered nurse. * Experience working in elderly care, including caring for patients with Alzheimer #39;s and other dementia-related conditions. * Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Ability to work independently and use own initiative. * Commitment to continuing professional development. As a Registered Nurse your main responsibilities will include: * Providing emotional support to service users and their families. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. * Working within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of care. * Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. * Participating in the induction and ongoing training of new staff members. * Assessing patients #39; health and care needs and developing care plans. * Administering medication and monitoring services users response. * Providing nursing care, including wound care and palliative care. * Liaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care. * Supporting service users with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
