We are currently recruiting for a Production (Filling) Operative to join our Minsterley site, to operate and run designated lines, achieve daily operations targets and maintain GMP standards. * Please not this role involves shift working ndash; 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts, days and nights. * Salary GBP30,174 *Contract - 12 month fixed term In this role the key responsibilities will include: bull; Supports to deliver the daily production plan for the line during shift worked bull; Operates plant/equipment, carrying out routine basic maintenance bull; Understands and works to achieve/exceed daily KPI targets bull; Ensures availability of materials and packaging bull; Works with Key Operators to carry out start up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout production bull; Ensures an effective hand over between shifts, remaining on line until relief takes over bull; Monitors product quality, highlighting non conformance and taking appropriate corrective action bull; Ensures SIC and Quality information is accurate, complete and timely bull; Completes all documentation, ensuring up to date and available bull; Trains operators, ensuring competence to perform allocated jobs bull; Leads by example encouraging appropriate behavioural standards in support of Company values and culture bull; Comply with food safety requirements, effectively control CCPs and adhere to site quality procedures bull; Maintaining Line/Area GMP standards looking to constantly improve bull; Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissions bull; To carry out any other duties that are within the employee #39;s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed bull; Actively promote and comply with all Company Policies, Procedures and Values Key skills experience bull; Problem identification and communication in a timely manor bull; Looking for ways to continually improve your work area bull; Hitting Targets bull; Working on high speed / High volume machines and plant bull; Prioritisation of daily tasks bull; A proven mechanical aptitude bull; Previous machine experience from within a fast moving production environment is desirable bull; Teamwork Collaboration bull; Capability Accountability bull; Line Efficiencies bull; Right First Time ( produces product to the required standard minimizing finished goods waste ) bull; Controlling material losses bull; Adherence to Standards (GMP) bull; H S Statistics (e.g. Accidents and Near Misses) bull; A flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plans bull; A good listener/communicator bull; Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills
