Assistant quantity surveyor

My client is genuinely one of the brightest and most up and coming contractors in the South East. They were formed back in the mid 90s and have slowly increased their turnover, and more importantly, their profit year on year and even in these testing times have a busy workload, with work secured into 2014. They are a specialist sub contractor within Groundworks and RC Frames and have an annual turnover in excess of GBP25m currently and operate mainly within London Home Counties. They are fast becoming a contractor that is known to deliver projects on time, with great efficiency and professionalism. About the role, requirements benefits: They are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is degree qualified and has a number of years experience within a Civil Engineering environment, ideally with Groundworks and RC Frames. Duties to include amongst other day to day duties: Take off schedule from construction drawings Assistance/Preparation of valuations Valuing Site Instruction Dayworks Contract Administration Suitable 2nd level qualification Then progressing onto running your own smaller jobs.
