Tooling governance procurement assistant

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Tooling Governance/Procurement Assistant to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. This role is initially a 1 year contract, with potential of extension. JOB RESPONSIBILITY bull; To provide support to the Tooling Procurement Process. Generation of SAP records. bull; To provide support in the Governance of all Component Supplier related Tooling ensuring support to Procurement. bull; Support the Supplier Qualification/Capability Matrix including DSA Quality reporting. bull; Support the Disposal Program, Support Internal Tooling Audits across Build Lines Stores. bull; Support the Maintenance of the DIs Processes. bull; Support the MSM Goods Receipting Process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Departmental Governance Support Responsibilities bull; Maintenance of Departmental Functional Manual, Departmental Instructions, and Processes. bull; Generation, up issuing, completion, and deletion of SAP Tooling Notifications, Equipment Masters, and Material Masters. bull; Uploading of tool drawings to SAP Document Management System. bull; Resolving and distributing of Tooling invoice queries. bull; Tool Control SAP Kit Compliance. Tooling Procurement Responsibilities bull; Generation of tooling Requests for Quotation. bull; Tooling quote processing. bull; Generation of tooling Purchase Requisitions. bull; Goods Receipting processing including the DMS uploading of all relevant documentation. Key Role Accountabilities bull; Tool Control management support. bull; Assist with carrying out an MSM activity liaising with Internal External Suppliers to ensure Delivery Schedule Adherence. bull; Have an understanding of SAP/TCMAX interface supporting Central Tooling, TCE DCC. bull; Assist with tooling asset management. bull; Support Logistics Hub liaisons. bull; Support tooling audits, including internal tooling asset audits, Supplier Purchase Order Audits, and Tooling Supplier Approval audits. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience bull; Basic numeracy and literacy qualifications. bull; Level 3 BTEC or equivalent. bull; Data analysing skills. bull; Negotiating Skills/Techniques. bull; Effective problem solving skills/techniques. bull; Good Inter-personal communication skills.
