WE ARE SEEKING A PROJECT MANAGER TO JOIN A TEAM BASED IN OXFORD, TO LEAD AND MANAGE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A HOTEL, AS WELL AS SOME SMALLER PROJECTS ON A TEMPORARY BASIS. THE ROLE Oversee projects and help support reactive maintenance running across the UKRI-RAL contract Plan and manage more complex specialist projects as identified by the Senior Contracts Manager Review incoming projects and allocate the necessary internal staff resource Identify and interpret project design criteria and engage specialist sub-contractors and personnel to identify solutions for implementation Engage sub-contractors and support the Commercial team in surveying sites prior to construction Ensure that all aspects of the project are effectively planned, monitored, and controlled Deliver project within programme and budget Ensure all Company Procedures are being complied with Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Procedures are followed KEY REQUIREMENTS Demonstrate previous experience in a construction-based Project Management role Demonstrate strong communication and management skills Experience in the delivery of commercial projects up to a value of GBP1mil Experience of working in the science sector, desirable but not essential Ability to manage and deliver numerous concurrent projects of varying financial values and scope Ability to plan and programme projects using MS Project Excellent IT skills I.E Microsoft Office Excellent presentation skills Knowledge / understanding of NEC 4 contracts, desirable but not essential THE APPLICATION PROCESS Please submit all CVs via our website or send directly to in the first instance quoting reference CP983 and we will contact you within 3 working days if your application has been successful
