About the role We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare who are looking for an experienced Support Worker with a compassionate and caring nature, ideally with experience in working in the field of ABI however full training and support will be provided to the right person. What you #39;ll be doing: Encourage the client #39;s active lifestyle, including leisure activities. Accompany clients to medical appointments. Assistance with budgeting and shopping Provide guidance and support with cooking and meal preparation. Create a positive and engaging environment through companionship and social interactions Build a strong and trusting relationship with the client supporting her to achieve her goals Requirements: Right to work in the UK A minimum of 6-months UK based health or social care experience is essential Compassionate and patient nature with excellent communication skills Must be happy to work with the client #39;s dog Enthusiastic and outgoing personality to connect with the client and create a positive atmosphere UK valid driving license, access to reliable car, business insurance and happy to transport the client in your car Note: All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
