Purchase ledger clerk

We are currently working with a huge client based in Heywood who specialize in Freight and Logistics. They have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-7pm ndash; 35 hours per week. What you can expect: * 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays * Flexible working * Birthday day off * Free on-site Parking * Pension Scheme Key Duties: In this role you will be responsible for the following duties: * Match, batch and code all purchase invoices * Processing credit notes/invoices including personal and company expenses * Sending remittances and liaise with suppliers * Processing and monitoring petty cash * Supporting with financial audits * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve ay issues Profile: * Understanding of financial management practices * Proficient in accounting software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Experience within a similar role is beneficial
