Highways site supervisor

Highways Site Supervisor Northamptonshire GBP350 per day Contract until the end of March 2025 initially Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Site Supervisor with experience in highway maintenance and improvements to join a client in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available. Your main duties include: middot;Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with SHE processes and procedures. middot;Managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the contract middot;Assisting with the implementation of the duties of the Principle Contractor under CDM. middot;Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Construction Phase including inductions, and site rules. middot;Pre start checks. This includes checking and documenting all PUWER and LOLER items, welfare is adequate and fit for purpose, spill kits are present etc. middot;Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of all relevant Risk Assessments (to cover every task on site), Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Point of Work Risk Assessment/Daily Brief documents. Essential requirements: middot;SSSTS (CITB Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Trainings Scheme) middot;NRSWA Supervisor middot;12D Traffic Management middot;NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate middot;SMSTS middot;Driving licence (clean) About you: Previous experience in highways, and specifically maintenance, is essential for this role.
