Accounts payable assistant

As an Accounts Payable Assistant for a UK Leading Agronomic Advice and Product Supplier within the Agricultural Sector, some of the benefits you will receive: Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP24,000 p/a Hours: 07:00am -15:00pm, 1 day a week work from home (your choice) Holidays: 33 days, including bank holidays Other benefits: Company Pension, Private Medical Cover (including dependants with 50% company contributions) What we are looking for in a Accounts Payable Assistant: * High attention to detail. * Innovative and creative approach. * Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge. * IT Skills ndash;Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management. * Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills. * Work as part of a small, dedicated team. * Finance software knowledge. * Accounts experience. Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant to include, but not limited to: * Responsible for company mail distributing within the business. * Filing, limited reception duties, registering visitors on arrival ang signing for deliveries. * Employee expenses petty cash claims. * Entering suppliers rsquo; invoices on to Purchase Ledger. * Reconciling Purchase ledger statements. * Monitoring stock accounts. * Answering incoming emails and calls from suppliers. * Assisting with any other purchase ledger tasks as required.
