Finance manager

Following the sustained period of growth over the past three months they are looking to recruit a qualified experienced Finance Manager to come in and help develop the Finance Department. As a proactive member of the senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in providing timely and accurate management information to the board and divisional finance team. The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the financial control and cash management within the Division in order to control and maximise the company rsquo;s profitability, protect the company rsquo;s legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues. Roles and Responsibilities: * Oversee all company accounts and investments. * Transform the finance department software systems from Sage to Coins. * Advancing the current finance department by analysing and working with senior management to put together action plan and turn a vison into a final product. * Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts. * Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports. * Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation. * Manage finance team and oversee/review sales ledger and purchase ledger. * Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports. * Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities. * Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. * Supervise monthly bank reconciliations and checking all control accounts. * Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. * Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing. * Prepare annual accounts file for auditors and drafting statutory accounts. * Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies. * Contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy. * Ensure financial processes/controls are adhered to and to identify improvements in processes and systems as appropriate. * Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations. * Liaising with Clients and Supplier * Manage the finance budget and to take responsibility for all finance activity. * To work effectively with colleagues and to represent the company at meetings and events as required
