Document Controller- Godstone Surrey and South London locations- 40k Perm role My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller based in their Godstone Office in Surrey and South London locations. Main Duties Ensure that all technical project drawings and documentation notifications from the client Electronic Document Management System; are checked, accurately recorded and distributed to the project team. To track, QA check and upload technical project drawings, technical submittals, RFI #39;s, commissioning certificates to the client Electronic Document Management System and company project file. Manage maintain the project filing system, ensuring the company file structure is strictly adhered to, and that all information is accurate and up to date. To continuously prioritise documents by maintaining an awareness of project progress at all times. Establish and maintain trackers to deliver accurate and timely reports related to document control as requested by the project manager Dealing with outstanding tech sub approvals, unanswered RFIs, QA Rejected, Status C documents, RAMS, plant equipment, holidays, installation progress, commissioning, snags etc. General administration, including typing, distribution, copying and filing general correspondence. arrange couriers, order stationery, reprographics, consumables and PPE Equipment for the Project teams Booking in Deliveries Skills Qualifications 2-3 years document controller experience, working in a construction site environment Experience using an electronic document control system (Sharepoint, Asite etc) Proven planning and process management skills Strong knowledge of Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook Good management skills, ability to prioritise work Attention to detail Can do attitude and with a flexible approach Reliable and able to work under minimum supervision Ability to work as a part of the team as well as under own initiative Good level of English language written and verbal skills
