We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN LSA to join our team and help us deliver high-quality education and support to students with SEN. The Role: As an SEN LSA, you will work closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to provide targeted support and interventions to students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, assisting with classroom activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting students with their individual learning goals. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. - Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans. - Support students in developing their social skills, communication skills, and independence. - Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create inclusive and engaging learning environments. - Monitor and track student progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents. Requirements: - Previous experience working as an SEN LSA or in a similar role. - Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Empathy and patience when working with students with diverse needs. - A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
