Service engineer

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a successful agricultural dealership based at their Winchester depot. Previous service engineering experience in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry is essential. The Role: bull; Service and maintain machinery from a range of first class franchises including CLAAS and Horsch to the manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety bull; Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible bull; Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair bull; Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer when required (training will be given) bull; Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times Requirements: bull; Experience ndash; knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry. Ideally, have a relevant qualification within the field of Land Based Engineering bull; Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positively satisfying experience bull; Communication - Ability to deliver appropriate communication both internally and externally to allow planning and continued work to be effectively completed bull; Must carry a full driving licence as well as have the ability to operate machinery on site for testing purposes. Hours: bull; Monday - Thursday, 8am ndash; 5pm and Friday, 8am ndash; 4pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (basic 39 hour working week) bull; Overtime available (Mon ndash; Sat time and a half, Sunday ndash; double time, bank holiday Monday ndash; double time day in lieu) bull; You will be required to do some weekend working especially during our peak harvest season Benefits: bull; Holiday entitlement ndash; 24 days per year plus bank holidays bull; Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution bull; Life Assurance including dependent rsquo;s pension bull; A dedicated Service Van bull; Ongoing training as required Salary: GBP25,000.00-GBP45,000.00 per year + Company Pension + On-site parking Interested?
