Job Role Responsible for being part of a multi-disciplined works team within the housing repairs, responsible for delivering multi trade services throughout the borough, ensuring health and safety compliance and best practice. To work in a professional and flexible manner and carry out work in accordance with latest regulations. Responsibilities To drive company vehicles in a careful professional manner and take care of your allocated vehicle by completing weekly inspections and weekly cleaning of vehicle, in accordance with all company procedures. To carry out multi trade work both internally and externally across the borough, including carpentry, glazing, tiling, flooring, signage, painting and decorating, kitchen repairs, bathroom repairs, lock changes and plumbing etc. To carry out all types of repairs maintenance works both internally and externally when required, including fencing, decorating, small maintenance tasks, demolition and alteration works and remedial works to complete projects to the customer or client satisfaction as directed by your line manager or other nominated designate. Overhaul or replace bathrooms and kitchens Requirements Minimum of 3 years rsquo; experience in delivering multi trade works within a responsive repairs environment in a comparable organisation including delivering services in a customer-focused environment setting. Experience working in a housing association or council is REQUIRED !!! Flooring and tiling experience requried Relevant trade qualification NVQ2 or city in guilds, and / or membership of a professional body in your specific trade (desirable) Full UK drivers license Contract Full time role Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm PAYE via Umbrella Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
